Which of the following choices provide the best definition for external conflict? A struggle between the protagonist and natural
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

A struggle between a character and an opposing force.

Explanation:

An external struggle is one that is experienced by a character but that does not come from within. Doubts and insecurities, for example, are not external struggles because the entire battle takes place inside the character's mind.

An external struggle is a fight that the main character might have with an antagonist, a disagreement with a friend, or even a complex situation that involves some other type of external force that is independent of the main character himself.

What effect does Keating's teaching have on Knox?
maw [93]
Keating is all about 'carpe diem', which means 'seize the day, go for it'. He encourages his students to live their lives to the fullest, the way they want to, and not to be restrained by anything. Having this in mind, Knox gathers the courage to go after the girlfriend of a football player, who was way out of his league.

Summary of the story throwing fire
Phantasy [73]
Hello

<span>In Throwing Fire, historian Alfred W. Crosby looks at hard, accurate throwing and the manipulation of fire as unique human capabilities. Humans began throwing rocks in prehistory and then progressed to javelins, atlatls, bows and arrows. We learned to make fire by friction and used it to cook, drive game, burn out rivals, and alter landscapes to our liking. Our exploitation of these two capabilities figured in the extinction of many species, and may have played a role in the demise of Neanderthals.

I don't understand can someone give me an example of what I'm supposed to do
Naddika [18.5K]
It looks like you go threw the list of selections with the chapters. And on the second paper with the boxes, you will write the situation in that chapter, or line of text. And in the box to the right you will write who the audience is in the specific chapter. And the next box you will write the message (meaning) of the chapter. And the last box write the "why in a text message" response. This response is your opinion.
