<h2>Hey There!</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>Answer:</h2><h2 /><h2>\Huge\boxed{\text{Oxygen}}</h2><h2>_____________________________________</h2><h2>\Huge\textbf{Cellular Respiration}</h2>

Cellular respiration is the process through which cells convert sugars into energy. The energy comes from the fuel molecules such as Glucose(sugar) or Lipids(fats). In cellular respiration, Glucose molecule is dismantled in the presence of oxygen. The bonds between the glucose break forming a simpler molecule and energy is released in small amounts. Some of the energy is stored by cell in the form of ATP while rest is lost as heat. So, ATP is formed from glucose through endergonic and exergonic reactions. The aerobic breakdown of glucose molecule accompanying synthesis of ATP is called celluar respiration. Carbon dioxide and water are produced as by-products.

\Large\textbf{Cellular Respiration Equation}

\text{C_6H_12O_6}/ + \text{6O_2} {\Longrightarrow}{C_6H_{12}O_6}\ + {6O_2}\ {\longrightarrow}\ 6CO_2\ +\ 6H_2O\ (ATP\ +\ Heat)

\texttt{(i)} Aerobic Reaction: Aero = air, bic = life and Respiration.

Most of the organisms are aerobes. They breakdown sugar involving participation of molecule of oxygen and release the energy in the form of ATP and release carbon dioxide and water as by-product.

\texttt{(ii)}Anaerobic Reaction: An = Without, aero = Air, bic = Life and Respiration.

Some organisms obtain energy by braking down sugar in absence of oxygen. This type of respiration is called anaerobic respiration and organism are called anaerobes. Many micro-organism including yeast can repire anaerobically.

There are 2 types of anaerobes,

  • Obligate Anaerobes - Which never need oxygen
  • Facultative Anaerobes - Which can respire with/without oxygen

On what does the recommended time (duration) of an endurance training workout depend? Frequency specificity intensity mode
laila [671]

The correct answer is intensity.

The intensity signifies towards the extent of energy exhausted at the time of performing exercise. The intensity differs with each individual. It has been observed that intensity possess an influence on what fuel the body utilizes and what kind of changes the body makes after performing exercise.

It is the concentration of the physical power, which the body utilizes at the time of doing an activity. For example, the intensity of the exercise illustrates how hard the body has to function to walk a kilometer in twenty minutes.

Explain how restriction enzyme digestion results would change if
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

The foreign gene might be lost

Explanation:

Restriction enzymes have two properties useful in recombinant DNA technology. They cut DNA into fragments of a size suitable for cloning at palindromic sites. Many restriction enzymes make staggered cuts that create single-stranded sticky ends conducive to the formation of recombinant DNA. The foreign might be cleaved and removed from the plasmid. plasmid is an extrachromosomal strand in bacteria.
