Answer:

Anne Hutchinson became a leader in colonies for her religious beliefs which threaten the Puritan order.

Explanation:

Anne Hutchinson became popular in the colony because of her criticism in Puritan ministers’ orthodox view about the Covenant of Works in Massachusetts Bay Colony. She challenged and questioned Clergy about the Puritan teachings related to salvation.

Many of the Massachusetts colonists have attended the heretical meetings of Anne Hutchinson because it related to the matters of faith among the colonists who escaped from England to practise religion freely without any trial and persecution. She openly challenged the male-dominated authorities in church and government, which was not common in those times when women required to do household work.

Read the following passages from John Newton’s diary.
Bess [88]
The correct answer would be The enslaved people onboard suffered from illness with some frequency. The reason being that many of the slaves didn't make it while being transferred from one continent to another. Although Newton and his men took better care of these slaves then most slave ships, there was nothing they could do about the living quarters, and they probably boarded the ship with some sickness.

Why were women granted the right to vote in 1919?
pav-90 [236]
Women's suffrage groups had existed since the 1870s, but during the war it was hard to ignore their arguments. Women were serving in the war, taking over from the men in factories and offices, holding families together while the men were overseas, and working in voluntary organizations that supported the war effort. They couldn't be kept out of political life any longer.

Women got the federal vote in three stages: the Military Voters Act of 1917 allowed nurses and women in the armed services to vote; the Wartime Election Act extended the vote to women who had husbands, sons or fathers serving overseas; and all women over 21 were allowed to vote as of January 1, 1919.

Hope this helped :P
