I am not sure, because i am not super familiar with imagists, but i think i could be A. From what I gathered, imagists were a group of people who liked clear, sharp language that created a pristine image, so ordinary language seems like it would not appeal to them that much.

I believe that the metaphysical poets introduced all of those changes and were reacting against the flowery language used in Elizabethan lyrics.
