Deforestation in Latin America has been carried out PRIMARILY by the cattle industry. Although it is true that every country is trying to preserve the forests, still the economic and social causes have gone against preservation of forests. B is probably wrong because it just seems silly. Not everyone will get rich. That's also part of Economics - there are ups and downs in the economy, there will always be some unemployment, etc.</span>
