It is so because velocity and speed differ each other by direction. In a 100 m sprint race ,the person moves in a straight path

without changing its direction where as in a 400 m race , the person moves in a lap around the race track and the direction changes as he turns according to the race track.

Please find the complete question in the attached file.

In the run of 100 m, its length of the displacement is 100 meters. For both the 100-m run, which implies, that speed and speed were equivalents. The distance throughout the 400-m run is 400-m, however, the riders end at the very same place, so the displacement is zero. Zero changes imply zero speed.

Kaylis [27]

The correct answer is "D".

The Aztec Empire was originated from an Alliance between 3 city-states: Mexico Tenochtitlan (the Capital), Texcoco and Tlacopan. In Aztec culture, the nobility was considered as the ruling group of society and oversaw all matters regarding the production and distribution of goods and public policy.

Whenever the empire was put in front of an eventual conflict. Representatives from these 3 states gathered upon and, after receiving advice from counselors, would deliberate and eventually take the decision of engaging into war with neighboring communities.
