The virginia colony was founded as a royal colony under the direct control of the king true or false
LenKa [72]
False

This is false in two respects - the fact it was founded as a royal colony, and the fact it was under direct control. The Virginia colony (Jamestown) was colonized for Great Britain (hence the name Jamestown coming from the name of King James), however it was founded by the Virginia Charter. The king didn't take it over until a bit later, when the charter wasn't doing a suitable job.
