I write this letter to you from the past, I will probably be dead and my remains have already been completely swallowed up by the earth and transformed into other forms of life. However, I was present in the formation of the country that you call home and I would like to tell you about that time.
It was very difficult, but we won. That's how I can sum up everything we've been through. We had to deal with the cold, the infertility of the land, the lack of food, of adequate houses and the fear of never being able to reach our goals.
My reasons for writing this letter are to show how important resilience is in life, as well as hard work and persistence. If we hadn't persisted, you wouldn't be here.
