After the Green Revolution farmers started using modern technologies and bought new tools to get good crops.


2) Use of HYV seeds:

They started using HYV (High Yielding Variety) seeds & new hybrid seeds which grow faster and better than the normal kind.

3) Use of pesticides & insecticides:

Farmers also started increasing the use of pesticides & insecticides in the hopes of a fruitful harvest gain & to keep of insects from eating crops during its maturation period.

Increased use of modern technologies leads to smoke & pesticides & insecticides cause bio-magnification & also destroy the nearby water bodies.
