Answer: When I was growing up, in mathematics and science I always had a natural skill and curiosity. Many people think mathematics is a very realistic subject, but I love it as it allows us to grasp ideas outside our cognitive ability. Similarly, science can answer some of our more fundamental questions about creation, but it still leaves deeper questions unanswered. We know that we don't understand any much as we develop our knowledge of life, the world and everything. This limitless ability is fantastic... that is why I think science is so incredible. My greatest ambitions are human physiology and astronomy and I want to apply my area of expertise to them in the greatest possible way. I recognize how important it is to attend medical school and become an admired pulmonologist. I recognize the value of acquiring the greatest possible amount of experience and expertise in my schooling early on. That is why I have been interested in many research and mathematical activities such as BCA biology, chemistry and Algebra 2 programs, MathCon, Advanced and Honorary Maths and Sciences in middle and secondary schools. I look forward to attend and research the Columbia University Honors Program with the same love, zeal and commitment.

What is the author's purpose in Libraries face sad
just olya [345]

Answer:

The author used persuasive well in this story. He made a powerful message in this story. The powerful message that this short story is saying, is that teenagers should put down all the technology they use today. Instead they should just go to the nearest library and read a book, because it provides a quiet place to let our imagination run free.

I think this story appeals to all audiences, but mostly teenagers. In this short story, Pete Hamill was mainly talking about his childhood experiences with libraries and books. He talks about how most parents and teachers beg their children to read, and his teachers didn't have to do that.

Libraries are a very important part of life. they help people with many things and people should help earn money to keep public libraries available to people.

Lady_Fox [76]
Clasping Nausicaa's knees seemed to risky for Odysseus, since Nausicaa might have reacted poorly to his touch. Instead he talks to her, admiring her beauty. Nausicaa senses that Odysseus means no harm, so she decides to help him out. (Odysseues later tells the story of his journey to King Alcinous and Queen Arete---Nausicaa's parents who help him get back home to Ithaca.) Hope I helped!
