He stated that it is the duty of mankind to break free from a government when it has became a tyranny and don't guarantee human rights anymore. So, he included the list of alleged offenses in order to prove how the English government has become a tyranny against the colonies.

As the government failed to fix the problems, many of the germans wanted to change the government, and elected Hitler as Chancellor. Later on, Hitler became their leader.
these are so examples (yeah their bad people, i know) of how they rose to power. From these facts, we can learn how to keep history from repeating itself
