Answer:

a. There were many reconstruction measures implemented by radical republicans in congress in regards to both readmission of rebel states into the union and on freedmen’s situations. In regards to readmission, the Radical Republicans wanted to deny southern congressmen their seats, they wanted to pass the  Civil Rights Act of 1866, they wanted to pack a martial law in the South and the 14th Amendment. In regards to freedmen social, political and economic situations,  the Radical Republicans wished to help African Americans earn more rights. To do this they created things like the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments.

b. The Radical Republicans and Johnson did not get along. While they wanted greater rights for African-Americans, Johnson opposed and vetoed about 20 reconstruction bills. Due to his actions Congress overturned several of his vetoes and even considered impeachment. This is because he was violating the Tenure Act, criticizing the Congress and abusing his presidential powers.

According to Calvin Martin, what happened to the population of beavers and other fur-bearing animals in different regions of Nor
kherson [118]
Many indigenous peoples soon came to depend on the fur trade as their primary source of income and European-manufactured goods. However, by the mid-19th century changing fashions in Europe brought about a collapse in fur prices and led to the closure of several fur companies. Many indigenous peoples were plunged into poverty and consequently lost much of the political influence they once held.

The killings of beavers during the fur trade were devastating for the local beaver population. The natural ecosystems that came to rely on the beavers for dams, water and other vital needs were also devastated leading to ecological destruction, environmental change, and drought in certain areas. Following this beaver populations in North America would take centuries to recover in some areas, while others would never recover
