In Homer´s Odyssey, in the XIV song, we can see Eumaeus is a very loyal person who serves to his lord. He becomes an essential character in the return of Odysseus, whom he welcomes when he arrives dressed as a beggar, then he will help him kill Penelope´s suitors, fighting with Odysseus.

Eumaeus was a kind and humble servant who took care of the herd. He had also become a faithful friend to Odysseus. When his Lord returns from war, disguised as a beggar, he treats him gentleness and provides him with shelter and food. He serves the purpose of showing good character and hospitality.

Given any triangle ABC with corresponding side lengths a,b,c the law of cosines states:? Can someone explain to me how I get thi
a_sh-v [17]
As per convention:
- the angle at A is named A, the angle at B is named B, and the angle at C is named C
- the side of leght a is the side opposed to A, the side of length b is opposed to B, and the side of length c is opposed to C.

Now just state the law of cosines:

c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab cos(C)

Also, a^2 = c^2 + b^2 - 2bc cos (A)

And, b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2ac cos (B)
