When we talk about paganism and the period of the emergence of the tig concept and phenomenon, paganism can be tied to something contrary to goodness and normal from the point of view of the church. According to Christian belief, during late antiquity and the beginning of the Middle Ages, all those who did not practice Christianity were pagans. Even later, during the entire Middle Ages, this phenomenon was recorded. The church used the term to stigmatize all those who did not belong to the Catholic faith. This term eventually became common in the Islamic world as well, so Muslims also used the term pagan in the same context. From today's distance, we can conclude that those marked as pagans were unnecessarily stigmatized and characterized as bad and immoral, and only because of their religious understanding.
