Answer (,: I really hope this is what your trying to do, so I hope this helped!!!

Explanation (,:

Do you think art imitates life or life imitates art, because I will give my opinion and the explanation to it.

In my opinion, I believe that art imitated life, I feel this way, because when you paint trees, bushes, flowers, grass, animals, people, and bugs you are making art out of living things in life and according to www.generationgenius.com if you didn't know trees and plants are living and this website explains that.

You may also be wondering, if or how has science fiction influenced technology? and I'll also answer that.

After a bit of research I came up with this answer, science fiction literature has affected society significantly. It has inspired many to pursue careers in science which has, in turn, resulted in advancements in technology such as the developments in cloning, rockets, artificial intelligence, satellites, wireless internet, etc.

In conclusion, for my opinion on the art imitates life or life imitates art argument I think art imitates life, because our art today is based off of lots of living things. Also, After lots of research I figured out that yes, science fiction influenced technology.

Answer:

How has science fiction influenced technology? Many people believe that science fiction influenced technology because it has affected society. Science fiction has inspired many people to search for careers in science. They want to find a way to create the things they read about in books. Those people that are inspired created many inventions such as artificial intelligence and rockets as well as many more scientific break throughs we see today.  In my opinion, science fiction influences technology every time a new book is written. In a website I found about “How Does Science Fiction Influence the Real World?” it states “Science fiction literature has affected society significantly. It has inspired many to pursue careers in science which has, in turn, resulted in advancements in technology such as the developments in cloning, rockets, artificial intelligence, satellites, wireless internet, etc.” A research report from the University of Hawaii has shown “not only that science fiction plays a significant role, but that its impact is on the increase.”

Yuri [45]

Based on the following observations, the Malthusian theory was criticized: The population was growing quickly in Western Europe. The availability of food had also grown in the same period as a result of technological advancements. Food production has frequently expanded faster than population growth.

What are some criticisms of Neo-Malthusian theory?

Writers who argue that the Malthusian warnings were exaggerated or premature because the green revolution has significantly increased food production and will be able to keep up with ongoing population expansion have criticized the neo-Malthusian revival.

What are the main arguments against the Malthusian theory?

In essence, Malthus was mistaken about both population growth and technological advancement. Although he did not give an exact estimate, he suggested that in areas with plenty of natural resources (like The New World), the population would typically double every 25 years.

What is considered the backbone of police work?
Goryan [66]
Well police work constitutes several different factors. One is to detect crime, and that more often than not, in all developed nations, involves surveillance and "Intel" on suspicious personnel. This can range from your day to day uniformed officers to the more high end types like covert FBI and CIA who are most often than not, seen wearing plainclothes.

Next is to deter crime, and this is done as a preventive action. This can come through the form of having good relationships with the surrounding community, building up support from the grassroots and of course, addressing the issues and crime related concerns poised by these stakeholders.

And the most commonly seen type of policing, would be the normal day to day patrol officers. These officers are deemed to be the front-liners against vice and criminal activities, and often than not perceived as the only backbone of policing work.

However, alike all corporate organizations, each police force has a wide range of supporting services which ensures the functionality of the police. But in essence, the above 3 factors constitutes the seen and unseen "backbone" of police work. Hope this helps:)<span />
