Science fiction has inspired many people to search for careers in science. They want to find a way to create the things they read about in books. Those people that are inspired created many inventions such as artificial intelligence and rockets as well as many more scientific break throughs we see today. In my opinion, science fiction influences technology every time a new book is written. In a website I found about “How Does Science Fiction Influence the Real World?” it states “Science fiction literature has affected society significantly.
