Contact [7]

The Renaissance, which means "rebirth" in French, typically refers to a period in European history from A.D. 1400 to A.D. 1600. Many historians, however, assert that it started earlier or ended later, depending on the country. It bridged the periods of the Middle Ages and modern history, and, depending on the country, overlaps with the Early Modern, Elizabethan and Restoration periods. The Renaissance is most closely associated with Italy, where it began in the 14th century, though countries such as Germany, England and France went through many of the same cultural changes and phenomena.

However, while the Renaissance brought about some positive changes for Europe, the geographical exploration that flourished during this time led to devastation for the people of the Western Hemisphere as European conquest and colonization brought plagues and slavery to the Indigenous people living there. In Africa, it also brought about the birth of the trans-Atlantic slave trade that saw Black people shipped from Africa to the Western Hemisphere to work as slaves on European colonies.

"Renaissance" comes from the French word for "rebirth." According to the City University of New York at Brooklyn, intense interest in and learning about classical antiquity was "reborn" after the Middle Ages, in which classical philosophy was largely ignored or forgotten. Renaissance thinkers considered the Middle Ages to have been a period of cultural decline. They sought to revitalize their culture through re-emphasizing classical texts and philosophies. They expanded and interpreted them, creating their own style of art, philosophy and scientific inquiry. Some major developments of the Renaissance include astronomy, humanist philosophy, the printing press, vernacular language in writing, painting and sculpture technique, world exploration and, in the late Renaissance, Shakespeare's works.

Answer:

The correct answer is B: Michelangelo

Explanation:

David is a Renaissance Sculpture made by the Italian artist Michelangelo between 1500 and 1504. It is a marble statue that represents a Biblical hero David at the time of his fight with Goliath, and it also represents a symbol of the medieval state of Florence.

David is one of Michelangelo's two greatest sculptural works and it's also considered one of the most recognizable sculptures in the world. Michelangelo's David differs from other versions of David because it portrays David before his battle, while the other artists represent him after his glorious victory over the giant.

The Statue of David is currently located in the Accademia Gallery in Florence.

How did the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1929 help farmers?
____ [38]

C) It stabilized the prices of farm goods.

Further explanation

Returns from the 1929 Agricultural Marketing Act

The law is intended to subsidize farmers. This program provides better protection for farmers than the previous program to survive from excess supply and falling crop prices. Money is lent to farmers to get seeds and food for livestock.

Contributions to the Agricultural Marketing Act 1929

The most vital contribution of this Act is the formation of a federal agricultural council. The council formed several agricultural cooperatives. Agricultural cooperatives were created to even agricultural prices. To reduce product surpluses, cooperatives must obtain voluntary approval from farmers.

In addition, the federal agriculture council formed a council marketing cooperative. A marketing cooperative is twisted into buying cotton, seeds, and wool. Marketing cooperatives provide arrangements for storing agricultural products.

Effects of the Agricultural Act of 1929

The Federal Agriculture Council pays a surplus and cannot compensate for production because farmers understand that they can only sell to the government of their crops, they implement the use of fertilizers and other techniques to strengthen production.

Overall, deflation could not be overcome because of major mistakes in the bill. The production limit is thumbs up. If there is a production limit, devaluation might be somewhat helped. Funds have taken sooner or later wear out and farmers' losses continue to increase.

To place the agricultural industry with other industries in the same position, the Act encourages the use of agricultural commodity trade in foreign and foreign trade. The law is intended to protect, control and stabilize the flow of trade between countries and foreigners in the marketing of agricultural commodities and agricultural food products.
