How did Pachacuti encourage loyalty?
Tju [1.3M]

Pachacuti built a strong central government and also took his sons for training to Cuzco which ensured the loyalty.

Explanation:

Moreover, he also kept the local people as rulers which increased their loyalty towards him.

Local administrators were made to collaborate with regional level administrators who looked after justice, land, labour, etc. The regional rulers were told to report to the supreme Inca ruler.

A person applies for a job. The interviewer says the applicant probably won’t like the job because they are Swedish. What should
Natasha2012 [34]

The applicant can respond several ways:

1) "I'm sorry you think that; I'm very open minded and love the challenge of learning something new!"

2) "I read the company was Swedish and that's exactly why I applied! I admire their work ethics & creativity. Sign me up!"

3) "they're Swedish? Really?! Well my mother's entire side of the family is Swedish; we visit every other year! I'll have to ask my uncle Sven, who is the president of xx company if he knows them."

This interviewer needs to go back to school to learn her skill better; this comment is a no, no!

Which best compares the attitudes of Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis about Fort Sumter? Lincoln was eager to fight at Fort S
shutvik [7]

The correct answer is "Lincoln did not want armed conflict at Fort Sumter, but Davis acted quickly to cripple Union forces".

Lincoln was certainly adamant about avoiding military confrontation over the Fort. His aims were put in preserving the Union, which proved to be extremely hard as the conflicts were started by the sates that had separated or seceded, as well as the first attacks on Fort Sumter.

Davis cared a lot less about preservation and just tried to find the quickest and most effective way to mitigate the conflict. He believed crippling the Union's army would make them leave as they would not have enough time to respond and they'd be at a great disadvantage.

Hope this helps!
