One solution: Two angles of the triangle can be found, since we know their supplement angle counterparts. The first one is 50 degrees, and the second angle is 46 degrees. Thus the final angle has a measurement of 180 - 46 - 50 = 84 degrees. However, "x" is the supplement of the third angle, so 180 - 84 = 96

"x" can also be the sum of the two other angles within the triangle, or 360 - 134 -130, cause all interior angles of any polygon always add up to 360.

In each of the equations or inequalities below, find all the integer values of x that make the equation or the pair of inequalit
PIT_PIT [208]
So in these problems, we're dealing with absolute value. Absolute value is the real amount of the number, or it's real place value without a negative sign.
Part A: if the absolute value of X was 17, then X could equal -17 or 17.
Part B: |x+9|=15. We know that 6+9=15, so X could equal -6 or 6.
Part C: |x-10| ≤ 13. We know that 23-10 is 13. So 23 would be the greatest value of X. Then, for the smallest value of X, if we insert -3 in the equation to take the place of the variable, we get |-3-10|=13. So -3 would be the smallest value of the equation. X≤ 23 and X≥-3.

Enrollment in a school district is currently 1250 students and is decreasing at approximately 3% per year. Enter the number of y
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer: the number of years is 7.3 years

Step-by-step explanation:

We would apply the formula for exponential decay which is expressed as

A = P(1 - r)^ t

Where

A represents the population after t years.

t represents the number of years.

P represents the initial population.

r represents rate of growth.

From the information given,

P = 1250

A = 1000

r = 3% = 3/100 = 0.03,

Therefore

1000 = 1250(1 - 0.03)^t

1000/1250 = (0.97)^t

0.8 = 0.97^t

Taking log of both sides, it becomes

Log 0.8 = tLog 0.97

- 0.0969 = - 0.0132t

t = - 0.0969/- 0.0132t

t = 7.3 years
