It's not "el casa", "casa" is a feminine noun in spanish, therefore it has to use "la" and not "el"

in my opinion reading books, or even just dome short writing in Spanish can go a long way. Every time you come across a word you dont know look it up, or ask and write it down. Even try writing a sentence along with the definition of the word.
