I would say you have to know your audience! How else are you going to know what appeals to them?

A good question to ask her is:
When did she start writing?
What gave her the idea to write her book?
What is her favorite place to write?
How does she sit still long enough to write (That's something I can't do for more than a few minutes, so I'd like to know!)
