Answer:

B. Free trade

Explanation:

Free trade is an element of global trade that allows for growth and diversity.

Free trade is an economic policy where there are no tariffs, duties on imports and taxes. It is a Laissez faire and the government does not interfere on exports through the imposition of the duties, tariffs, quotas and taxes on what is exported.

This policy brings about lower prices for the consumers, exports would be increased and also there are more choices of goods available. This brings about growth and diversity.

Which phrase indicates that the colonists are protesting their lack of representation?
bearhunter [10]
"Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed."
They are saying here that governments should get their power from the people they are governing, rather than making decisions all on their own. The colonists were not being able to have any say in the British government and they felt like representation was a very important right of a citizen.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I'm wrong. :)

How did land reform affect the power structure of Japanese society?
DochEvi [55]

The correct answer is D) it increased the power of the poor.

The land reform affected the power structure of Japanese society in that it increased the power of the poor.

After World War II, the United States helped Japan to recover. General Douglas A. McArthur was the leader of the Allies in charge of the Reconstruction of Japan and he created many reformations in politics, economy, the military, and land. The purpose of the land reform was to reduce the gap between rich landlords that did not farm the lands and the peasants that rented the land to grow crops. The government forced the landlords to sell part of its land and then gave portions of land to the farmers that could rent to others and farmers also could sell their crops to the government.
