Answer:

x = 19

<B = 125°

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum f angle <D and angle <A is equal to 180° because these angles are supplementary

75° + 5x + 10 = 180° add like terms

85 + 5x = 180 subtract 85 from both sides

5x = 95 divide both sides by 5

x = 19

Same rule goes for angle <C and angle <B

<B + 55° = 180 subtract 55 from both sides

<B = 125°

Can someone explain the answer for me? I am seeming to not get it.
antoniya [11.8K]

Answer:

(-4,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Reflection in the y-axis- if we are only focusing on A then you have to make the x negative:

                           A (-4,1)     A' (4,1)

2. Reflection in the x-axis- make the y negative in the point A:

                          A' (4,1)    A'' (4,-1)

3. Rotate 180 degrees- (x,y) rotated 180 degrees is (-x,-y):

                           A" (4, -1)      A'''(-4, 1)

side note: if 1 is already negative than two negatives make a positive, which is why -1 becomes 1 after the 180 degree rotation

Ke Shawn is placing a right triangle in the coordinate plane. He knows that the longer leg is twice the length of the shorter le
Artist 52 [7]

the 3rd vertex is on the x axis line which means Y =0

 since the longer leg is twice as long as the shorter leg and the length of the shorter leg is a, then twice the length would be 2a ( 2 times a)

 so the 3rd vertex is (2a,0)

Find the total travel time: Depart 5:30 pm MST Arrive 9:20 pm CST.
Ivan

Answer:

2 hour 50 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data: Departure = 5:30 pm MST, Arrive = 9:20 pm CST

Note that MST is the time zone 1 hour before CST.

Let us convert MST into CST.

Departure = 5:30 pm MST = 6:30 pm CST

Total time travel = Departure – Arrival

= 9.20 pm MST – 6.30 pm MST

= 2 hour 50 minutes

Hence, total time travel is 2 hour 50 minutes.
