The boulder would have cracked in half. this is due to a type of weathering called freeze-thaw weathering. this type of weathering consists of water/moisture getting into the rocks’ pours/cracks and freezing (usually happens during the night time). this causes the liquid to expand and the cracks to grow in size. this is then repeated over and over again until the boulder has fully cracked.
