4. A mathematics test has a 4:2 ratio of data analysis problems to algebra problems. If the test has
pishuonlain [190]
The answer is B. 36.

the ratio is 4:2, the number 4 is twice as much as 2. so if there's 18 algebra problems (representing the 2 in the ratio), then there would be twice as many data analysis problems. 18 times 2 equals 36. :) hope it helps!

ASAP PLZ WILL GIVE BRAINLIEAT AND SHOUTOUT!
Vadim26 [7]
Hi there!

The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is P = 2 (l + w).

We can simplify this formula so that we can find the solutions easier.
P = 40

40 = 2 (l + w)
divide both sides by 2

40/2 = l + w
20 = l + w

So the length + width has to equal to 20.

So your answers would be B , C , D.
Hope this helped! :)

in a population distribution a score of x=28 corresponds to z=-1.00 and a score of x=34 what is the mean and standard deviation
irakobra [83]
x=28\implies z=\dfrac{28-\mu}\sigma\implies \mu-\sigma=28

x=34\implies z=\dfrac{34-\mu}\sigma\implies \mu+\sigma z=34

We need the exact value of z to find a proper solution, but a general one can still be found. Subtracting the first equation from the second gives

(\mu+\sigma z)-(\mu-\sigma)=34-28\implies (z+1)\sigma=6\implies \sigma=\dfrac6{z+1}

Plug this into either equation and you get

\mu-\dfrac6{z+1}=28\implies \mu=28+\dfrac6{z+1}

(It's guaranteed that z\neq-1 in this case because that already corresponds to x=28.)
