Answer:

\csc( \alpha )  < 0

=>

\frac{1}{ \sin( \alpha ) }  < 0

=>

\sin( \alpha )  < 0

we also have:

\cot( \alpha )  < 0

=  >  \frac{ \cos( \alpha ) }{ \sin( \alpha ) }  < 0

but sin < 0 (proven)

=  >   \cos( \alpha )  < 0

=> angle theta is in the 3rd quadrant

Can someone help me with this question me and my friends are fighting over it?

Okay so I am not 100% sure but I think it is C. 1/12;

Because if you rearrange all the letters so that W is is the beginning you get 6 different combinations.

Then I multiplied those 6 combinations by 4 because there are 4 letters.

Once I multiplied I got 2/24 because there are 24 possibilities in total, and we are looking for the probability of getting those 2 combinations.

I simplified 2/24 to its lowest form and I got 2/24 = 1/12.

So the correct answer is C.1/12, hope this helps!

There are \frac{7!}{(7-1)!1!} ways of choosing the first winner, which is 7 ways
There are \frac{6!}{(6-1)!1!} ways of choosing the second winner, which is 6 ways
There are \frac{5!}{(5-1)!1!} ways of choosing the third winner, which is 5 ways
There are 7×6×5=210 ways of choosing first, second, and third winner
