Slave laws passed in Virginia in 1750 has passed laws for
slaves that made slaves lose respect and does not show any sign of humanity as
they were being treated as lowly of other classes. The slaves during this time
became a private property to their owners and not only that, they are also
being bought and sold by the upper classes.
In 1750 Virginia passed a law called “The Act concerning Servants, and Slaves” that distinguished slaves from servants. Which meant that slaves had the status of property and could be bought and sold.
