1.) Cytology is also known as cell biology. It is the study of cell. It is important for the researchers or biologists in generating vaccines, medicines etc.

2.) The unified cell theory states that: all living things are composed of one or more cells; the cell is the basic unit of life; and new cells arise from existing cells.

3.) Cells are considered the basic units of life in part because they come in discrete and easily recognizable packages. That's because all cells are surrounded by a structure called the cell membrane — which, much like the walls of a house, serves as a clear boundary between the cell's internal and external environments.
