Explanation:

The poem explores themes of Race, Freedom, Justice, Equality, Childhood, Dreams and aspirations and Religion. The tone is wistful as the boy repeatedly expresses a longing for the things that will make his society a better place and make him safe and happy.

"Dreaming Black Boy" and "Epitaph" are two poems which address the issues of oppression and racism. ... The persona tries to use his education to try to escape the harsh reality of racism. He not only mentions what is going on around him now, but also the past and even how he would like things to be in the future.

Answer:

two themes that could be identified in the poem dreaming black boy are;

  1. dreams- this team is about the black boy who dreams and wishes that everything he wants could be ordinary as everyone.
  2. racism- because he is a black boy and maybe the other classmates are not black they don't like him just because he is a black boy so this is called racism.

definition dreaming in the poem

to my opinion I think dreaming it means that the black boy wishes for everything he wants to be an ordinary as his other classmates.

Vikki [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Outward appearances can be deceiving.

Explanation:

In the quote, we can see that Frankenstein's monster (if we should call him that) tells us how he is harmless and can even be beneficial (meaning, helpful, useful), but all people choose to see is his appearance rather than what's inside.

Namely, Doctor Frankenstein brought a corpse back to life and thus created his monster. Obviously, a reanimated corpse looks scary and people often cannot see beyond the physical, which is something the monster is lamenting in the quote above. He says that even though he may look like a monster, his characteristics are not monstrous, and that people shouldn't read the book by its cover (in other words, outward appearances can be deceiving).

grin007 [14]
In America, the picture on the right is called a baseball cap and the picture on the left is called a hat. However, I personally call them both hats. In your situation, it sounds like they are referring to the picture on the right.

I hope this helps.
