La República de Chile es un país ubicado en América del Sur. Limita hacia el este con Argentina, al norte con Perú y al noroeste con Bolivia. Hacia su oeste se encuentra el Océano Pacífico. Chile es un país angosto pero bastante extenso en longitud: tiene un ancho máximo de 117km y su extensión es de 4270 km.
