Answer:

Given - Two angles measures 2x and 3x

To find - size of 3x

Solution -

2x + 3x = 360° ( Make reflex angle )

5x = 360°

x = 360/5

x = 72°

PLEASE HELP! I will give you the brainiest and A LOT of points! (Ch.5.3)
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

Multiplier = 1.75x (7/4).

7/8 cups butter, 4 and 3/8 ounces chocolate, 1 and 3/4 cups sugar, 7/8 teaspoons vanilla, 3 and 1/2 eggs (4 if rounded!), 1 and 5/16 cups flour.

Step-by-step explanation:

The ingredient list is for 16 brownies, but you need to make 28. This means you have to make 1.75x the amount (28/16), so all ingredient quantities need to be multiplied by 7/4 (1.75 in fraction form).

Butter: 1/2 * 7/4 = 7/8 cups

Chocolate: 5/2 * 7/4 = 4 and 3/8 ounces

Sugar: 1 * 7/4 = 1 and 3/4 cups

Vanilla: 1/2 * 7/4 = 7/8 teaspoons

Eggs: 2 * 7/4 = 3 and 1/2 eggs (if rounded, 4, as 3.5 rounds up)

Flour: 3/4 * 7/4 = 1 and 5/16 cups

Can someone please help me I posted this multiple times but no one answers pls help me quick

You would have to make 465=1550-7 1/2 x and find x
Subtract 1550 from both sides
-1085=-7 1/2x
Divide -7 1/2 on both sides
And the answer is 144 2/3

Find the probability that the mean annual preciptiation will be between 32 and 34 inches. variable is normally distributed
liq [111]
Supposing, for the sake of illustration, that the mean is 31.2 and the std. dev. is 1.9.

This probability can be calculated by finding z-scores and their corresponding areas under the std. normal curve.
                                                                     34 in - 31.2 in
The area under this curve to the left of z = -------------------- = 1.47 (for 34 in)
                                                                           1.9
                                                                      32 in - 31.2 in
and that to the left of 32 in   is               z = ---------------------- = 0.421
                                                                             1.9

Know how to use a table of z-scores to find these two areas?  If not, let me know and I'll go over that with you.

My TI-83 calculator provided the following result:

normalcdf(32, 34, 31.2, 1.9) = 0.267  (answer to this sample problem)

Factor the following quadratic.<br> y=2x^2 - 5x - 3
Reptile [31]

Answer:

(2x + 1)(x - 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2 {x}^{2}  - 5x - 3

2 {x}^{2}  - 5x - 3 = 0

(2x + 1)(x - 3)  = 0

x =  -  \frac{1}{2}

x = 3
