This type of evidence relies on numbers, usually resulting from surveys and researches, to offer support to a claim. If I say, for instance, that 70% of people who eat eggs lose fat and gain mass more quickly than those who do not eat eggs, I will be using statistical evidence to prove my point that eating eggs is helpful for bodybuilders - that is just an example.

I personally do not think that it was fair for them to say this, either to Romeo or to women. Gender stereotypes were a lot more prevalent in the 13- and 1400s than they are now. People expected more of men than they did of women — they were not supposed to show weakness or sorrow.
