King Tut, originally named Tutankhamun, was born circa 1341 BCE. His father, Akhenaten, was pharaoh of Egypt and had forbidden the worship of many gods. Akhenaten only favored the worshiping of one god, Aten. According to Biography.com, it seemed his intent was to reduce the power of the priests and shift the economy to a new regime run by military commanders and local government administrators.
After Akhenaten's reign came to an end, King Tut became the new pharaoh. King Tut's reign only lasted around 10 years, and he disappeared from history until his tomb was discovered in 1922. Over the years, studies have discovered King Tut broke his leg, developing an infection, and that he had malaria. However, the cause of King Tut's death remains a mystery. Howard Carter, a British archaeologist, and George Herbert discovered the tomb, a fact which garnered worldwide news coverage. The discovery of King Tut sparked a renewed interest in ancient Egyptian history, both in popular culture and history museums around the world.
Columbus is a villain. He took credit like any other white man hungry for fame. He wasn't the 1st person to discover America. The vikings did but they didn't "document" the discovery as much as Christopher did. Christopher wasn't even the 1st person to spot the Americas. Christopher was completely wrong about his discovery. History continues to repeat itself over and aver again. White men suppressing minorities for their self-less gain in power. White people raped people, caused wars, slavery, dept, etc. This one of the reasons why people today have so many races in their family tree. Even white people brought over diseases from Europe. Christopher Columbus is a villain. He didn't deserve the credit.
B. The Panic of 1857.
The Panic of 1857 is the first recorded economic crisis of the world.
This is because Britain repealed the requirements of the Peel Banking Act of 1844.
This act required British currency to be backed by silver and gold. Therefore giving the current actual value, because of rare items equal value.
Becuase of instant information, the public and the world immediately learned about this, and therefore lost trust and security in Great Britain's currency.
This, therefore, leads to the Panic of 1857.
