The correct answer is B. The U.S did not take any side in the European war

Explanation:

The word "neutrality" refers to a position towards one conflict or situation in which there are sides in which a person, group or entity decided to avoid taking part of the conflict or supporting any side involved. This means a person, group of people or entity is partial in a dispute. Additionally, in politics, this term is used to describe states that do not take a position during a dispute. Therefore, the statement that best illustrates a position of neutrality is "the U.S did not take any side in the European war" as in this statement a state which is the United States remains neutral and impartial in a confrontation between other states and therefore does not take a position or support any of them.

Okay so
1. The new diseases
2. New weapons
3. Different animals
4. Different languages
5. and religion
I would say the new diseases that the white men brought over with them affected and changed the Native populations the most because many people died from these diseases because the Natives did not know how to prevent them or what to treat them with.

I would say that religion was the least change because even though some accepted the other religions, it really didn't affected the population.

Hope this helps you!

Choose the most accurate statement about the nature of politics in the Gilded Age.
Neko [114]

Answer:

The major political parties were polarized over monetary policy.

Explanation:

The Gilded Age politics which existed between 1870 and 1900 in America was also called the Third Party System and featured intense rivalry between the Democrats and Republicans of which the Republicans dominated the political sphere.

This period was riddled with corruption as government officials were more concerned with filling their pockets from public coffers and giving their supporters positions in government than actually working for the people.

From the question given, although the Republicans dominated the political process, the major political parties were polarized over monetary policy. The Republicans made monetary policies that would support businesses but was opposed by the Democrats who finally adopted the free silver platform.
