Answer:

African Americans were some of the first to be laid off because of the racism during this time. They had to live in small houses that would hold up to 300 families at a time in destitute conditions.

Migrant workers were also laid off and many were deported even if they were legal US citizens.

Farmers were unable to plant crops due to all the top soil blowing away during the dust bowl.

Children were also highly affected as their parents were unable to afford clothes for them as they grew, and children would often search for dangerous odd jobs to help gain money for their families.

Which excerpt from A Rumor of War best illustrates Vietnam's uncomfortable climate
Dvinal [7]
Here is the excerpt from A Rumor of War which best illustrates Vietnam's uncomfortable climate:
The tedium was occasionally relieved by a large-scale search-and-destroy operation, but the exhilaration of riding the lead helicopter into a landing zone was usually followed by more of the same hot walking, with the mud sucking at our boots and the sun thudding against our helmets while an invisible enemy shot at us from distant tree lines.

How did the Declaration of Independence help to expand america
irina1246 [14]
How the Declaration of Independence changed America?
America did not secede from the British Empire to be alone in the world. ... America's independence signaled a fundamental change: once-dependent British colonies became independent states that could make war, create alliances with foreign nations, and engage freely in commerce.

How did the fugative slave act increase sectional tensions!
Leviafan [203]

Hello!

The Fugitive Slave Act required slaves who had escaped to be returned to their owners. This increased sectional tensions because it still applied in free states (states that did not support slavery and/or abolished it). This meant that free states also needed to return slaves to their owners if they were caught. Because free states and slave states had different views and opinions on the matter, it caused tensions between them.

I hope this helps you! Have lovely days!
