Answer:

African Americans were some of the first to be laid off because of the racism during this time. They had to live in small houses that would hold up to 300 families at a time in destitute conditions.

Migrant workers were also laid off and many were deported even if they were legal US citizens.

Farmers were unable to plant crops due to all the top soil blowing away during the dust bowl.

Children were also highly affected as their parents were unable to afford clothes for them as they grew, and children would often search for dangerous odd jobs to help gain money for their families.
