Answer:

False

Explanation:

The dot adds half of the duration of the note that it's on.

For example, a dotted half note would have a duration of 3 beats. This is because the original duration of the half note is 2 beats and half of that is 1 beat.

Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

This statement can account for fact I and II because if the rate of acceptance was the same for domestic and foreign films within each category, that doesn't mean that the overall rate of acceptance was going to be the same for domestic and foreign films; because there were significantly more domestic films than foreign films submitted to the festival, the overall rate of acceptance of domestic films was significantly higher than that of foreign films.

mixer [17]

I had to do a bit of research for this one but here is how I would explain it:

In the 17th century, religion was far more important than it is today. It was a vital part of everyday life. Dutch artists would be influenced by the church of England as their artwork, the Church argued, played a key role in guiding the faithful. Art was certainly as important as the written or spoken word - not locked behind any language barrier - and anyone could understand it. Dutch artists had to make their art persuasive: it had to move the faithful (and disbelievers) to feel the reality of Christ’s sacrifice, the suffering of the martyrs, the visions of the saints.
