Answer:

He explained that the cost of the toilets was expensive. He also gave instances where the parts of the toilets broke down and the users are unable to replace or repair them due to their high costs.

Explanation:

Jason Kass in his article, "Bill Gates Can't Build A Toilet", explained that the high-tech toilets being proposed by the Engineers sponsored by Bill Gates were too expensive for the common man who lives in places where toilets are not readily available. One of those toilets costs about a thousand dollars while the poor man earned between $1 to $5. So, it would be difficult for him to save up for the toilets.

He also mentioned that the parts of the high-tech toilets such as their 'unique membrane systems', could get clogged and not be easily unclogged or replaced by the poor people due to their high costs.

Mumz [18]

Explanation:

In the beginning of the story, Taylor is amazed of woods and nature. There is a little sadness as she looks at the tree because she knows, she won't see this tree as a whole again, since it has been split by lightning. However, in the middle of story, Taylor is more focused on the bird; she is afraid of the bird and its beak that could "rip the nose of her face", but still concerned about it and interested in it as well. At the end, she becomes lost and frightened, as she doesn't have the idea where she is.
