First, there are different penalties for not filing your taxes and not paying them.

• If you don’t file, you’ll face a failure-to-file penalty.

• If you file your taxes but don’t pay them, the IRS will charge you a failure-to-pay penalty.

Dane purchased a 15-year, 10% bond in 2014. At the time, the yield to maturity (YTM) on the bond was 8.8%. The bond currently se
posledela

Answer:

Rate of return < current YTM

Explanation:

In order to determine whether the current YTM is greater or less,we need to first of all determine the current YTM using excel rate formula as shown below:

=rate(nper,pmt,-pv,fv)

nper is the number of coupon payments the bond pay which is 15

pmt is the annual coupon payment of $100(10%*$1000)

pv is the current price of $890

fv is the face value of $1000

=rate(15,100,-890,1000)=11.58%

Since the rate of return is 8.8% while the current YTM is 11.58%,the third option is correct

Do you think governments should consider human rights when granting preferential trading rights to countries? What are the argum
kotykmax [81]

Explanation: I think that governments should consider human rights in privileged trade with countries, so the answer is: yes. Human rights are first and foremost a moral principle that provides a framework for human behaviour, more precisely the ideas and ideals of moral behaviour that are prescribed by many international instruments. This means that human rights are, in fact, fundamental rights of literally everyone, regardless of race, nation or language. It is true that the goal of trade is profit, but that is why there are international laws that protect human rights and provide a framework for moral human behaviour. The protection of human rights as such is also a compulsory part of foreign policy under international law, and thus an integral part of the foreign policy of many countries, and more precisely those who respect and enforce these laws. Preferential trade rights usually refer to lowering tariffs and other preferential terms in transactions, and thus as part of a country's foreign policy may be a contribution to improving human rights with those engaged in trade. Again, if a country respects international laws of business and human rights, it should be privileged when trade is at stake, but if that country itself does not carry out its human rights policies consistently, or even threaten them among its people, then it should restrict trade with such countries. So not only should such a country not be privileged when it comes to trade, but some of the economic sanctions under international law should also be considered.

A portfolio consists of three stocks. There are 540 shares of Stock A valued at $24.20 share, 310 shares of Stock B valued at $4
AVprozaik [17]

Answer: 12.47%

Explanation:

The value of each stock will be gotten by their unit multiplied by the price.

Value of Stock A = 540 × 24 2 = 13068

Value of stock B = 310 × 48.1 = 14911

Value of stock C = 200 × 26.5 = 5300

Total value of stock = 33279

Weight of stock A = 13068 / 33279 = 0.393

Weight of stock B = 14911 / 33279 = 0.448

Weight of stock C = 5300 / 33279 = 0.159

The expected return on this portfolio will then be:

= (0.393 × 8.3) + (0.448 × 16.4) + (0.159 × 11.7)

= 12.47%
