In Kiping's poem we can see that he is positive in relation to imperialism and thinks that it is right for a country so distant and so different from Europeans to be dominated and enslaved, such as Asian countries for example. This poem is called "The white man's burden" and shows how immerialism was a burden that white men had to bear for the good of humanity.

The cartoon supports this idea by showing how the white man is responsible for carrying the other races to victory. The cartoon shows the white man sacrificing himself and causing the other races to win because of his effort alone, as if the cartoons claimed that without the white man, the other races were doomed to ostracism.
