If H is the circumcenter, then each of EH, FH, and GH are perpendicular bisectors of the legs BC, CD, and DB, respectively. So, for instance, EH cuts BC in half so that BE and EC have the same length.

Also, BH, CH, and DH are radii to the circumcircle of the triangle, so they all have the same length.

(1) CD = CF + FD = 2 • FD = 2 • 32 = 64

(2) CE = BE = 26

(3) HD = HC = 33

(4) GD = 1/2 • BD = 1/2 • 58 = 29

(5) By the Pythagorean theorem,

HG² + GD² = HD²

so

HG = √(33² - 29²) = 2 √(62)

(6) Similar to (5); by the Pythagorean theorem,

HF² + FD² = HD²

so

HF = √(33² - 32²) = √(65)

It costs $2.50 to rent bowling shoes. Each game costs $2.25. You have $9.25. Write and solve an equation to find how many games
Nesterboy [21]
Hi there!

So, 2.25x would represet the total amount of money spent for all the games.

2.25x + 2.50 = 9.25 would be the equation to represent this scenario.

Now to solve: Our goal is the get x alone. Subtract 2.50 (the price of the shoes) from both sides. 9.25 - 2.50 = 6.75.

We are now left with 2.25x = 6.75.

Finally, we divide both sides of the equation by 2.25, which leaves us with x = 3.

So you can bowl for a total of 3 games.

I hope I helped!

Convert a markup of 15% on selling price to its equivalent markup on cost.
spayn [35]

Answer:

option: D is correct. (  (D) a markup of 15% on selling price is equivalent to a 85% markup on cost ).

Step-by-step explanation:

" Markup is the percentage difference between a product's cost and its selling price "

Since we are asked to Convert a markup of 15% on selling price to its equivalent markup on cost.

As there is a markup of  15% on selling price. Hence the cost of the product would be (100-15)%=85% of the selling price.

<em>Hence, a markup of 15% on selling price is equivalent to a 85% markup on cost.</em>

<em>Hence, option D is true.</em>
