While Lutherans began as a religious movement during the 16th century and had many differences from Catholicism practice of Christianity. Both sects of Christianity believe in Jesus Christ.
Lutherans believe that having faith in Jesus alone will lead to receiving grace from God and eventually to eternal rest in heaven after death.
Catholics believe that Jesus is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the true God and man.
