How to make a bow and arrow

Making a bow and arrow is very simple. Do not do this at home without supervision and carefully read the instructions before attempting to make a bow and arrow. You should brainstorm a good location to begin making your bow and arrow. Sometimes the materials that you buy may not be strong enough so make sure to buy sturdy ones. The materials that you need are rubber bands and some bamboo skewers. Be careful with the bamboo skewers because it is sharp tipped and can go far in the distance. It is exactly like long toothpicks.

First, stretch the thick rubber band between your index finger and middle fingers. Next, use the flat end of the bamboo skewer to push the rubber bands together. Then, form a circular shape with your other hand to hold the material firmly. Use the same fingers that I mentioned before to perform this act. After you have done that pull back on the string and let go. It will go a long distance away and if you have a target such as a box it will punch through it so be careful. You may want to use two layers of boxes.

I hope you had a good time making it. That is all the steps of making a bow and arrow. If you do not have a target then just use some cardboard box. One of the many places you can do it is in the open plains or fields. Have a great time playing with the bow and arrow!

Hope it helped,

Kavitha

pogonyaev

In "The feather pillow" by Horacio Quiroga when the parasites don't have a human to feed on they usually are small, they are parasites of feathered creatures. This parasite, in particular, has been feeding on Alicia's blood, that is why it became so monstrous. We learn about this in the last parragraph of the story.
