I had the strangest dream last night. I was sitting in a dirty, thin room with the walls shying away from me. There was no where else to go; beyond the room, I was sure, was nothing. Not nothing as in a void, or a blackness, but a lack of anything. Not a hole, that is something. A wrinkly mirror clung to the hill of one of the walls, near the yawning corner of the cell. Infrequently is would spark and dance; a shine would burst forth, ever a comfort. I never tried to catch it, I knew the mirror, gluttonous, would swallow it back up again soon. I smiled and awoke.
