Select the sentences in the article that are based on fact.

English

The correct answers are:

  • Unwanted clothing dumped in the bin ends up along with the rest of your rubbish.
  • Most charities have shops in your local high street.
  • Charities can post collection bags and make door to door collections for your unwanted items.
  • Clothes that are too worn to be sold can be shredded and reprocessed into new items.

The sentences on the list are presented in a manner that the speaker disables the reader from arguing, which is characteristic of facts, rather than of opinions.

The rest of the options are written with a low level of certainty with the use of phrases such as <em>"people don't seem"</em>, <em>"It is really easy"</em>, and <em>"You shouldn't" - </em>which makes them accurate only from the speaker's own personal viewpoint<em>.</em>

 I would say "Charities can post collection bags and make door to door collections for your unwanted items." and "<span>Clothes that are too worn to be sold can be shredded and reprocessed into new items."
</span> Simply because those are facts and not suggestions or opinions. There could be more than those two though.

I just need help paraphrasing ONLY lines 7 and 8 of this poem. Basically just need help rewriting two lines from this poem.
bagirrra123 [75]
Here is the answer:
I wish I could recall that first day,

To begin with hour, first snapshot of your meeting me,

Assuming brilliant or diminish the season, it may be

Summer or Winter for nothing I can state;

So unrecorded did it disappear,

So visually impaired was I to see and to predict,

So dull to stamp the growing of my tree

That would not bloom for some a May.

In the event that no one but I could remember it, such

A day of days! I let it go back and forth

As traceless as a defrost of past snow;

It appeared to mean pretty much nothing, implied to such an extent;

In the event that exclusive now I could review that touch,

In the first place touch of as an inseparable unit—Did one yet know!

That is to say, this is the third time I've needed to ask this question. It's just two lines I require help with. Hope it help!

svp [43]
The correct answer is C. the little boys of Baltimore who had taught him how to read.

He specifically says he was not attached to Master Hugh or his wife, as both of them had changed very much - Master Hugh because of alcohol, and his wife because of slavery. Frederick goes to live with Mr. Thomas and his new wife. He felt the strongest attachment to the boys, and was now desperate, believing he would never see them again.
