You don't want to confuse your audience too much, but rather help them understand your ideas. Obviously, you need to proofread the whole text so as to eliminate any mistakes that might come up. You need to have a clear beginning, middle, and ending, using topic sentences and thesis statement, if it is an essay. Maintain a consistent tone throughout your narrative, and try to stick to figurative language as much as you can,
