How do you guys draw body proportions? (hands too ;-;)

You could watch videos on how to draw them. But, also use yourself as a model or someone around you.

Answer:

use basic shapes for the body like squares, rectangles, circles, etc.

Using lines to draw out the limbs or to make it 3D ish helps a lot as well. Using circles for the joints I found was really helpful. Additionally, It would be helpful if you draw the head last. This may seem weird but you would do this because you would naturally want to make the head bigger than the body which will mess up the proportions of the body. For the hands draw a trapezoid then figure out what pose the hand is in and add the lines. then draw the joints as fingers.
