Hindu had many beliefs like praying to gods Shiva and Brahma.  Hindus has a caste system that contained Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and the Shudras and Untouchables. The Untouchables were outcaste.

The Brahmins were the highest caste.  People thought the caste system came from Brahma this was their belief so they strongly believed and followed the caste system. An example of this was if the Untouchable touched a Brahmin people considered it a sin. This proves how strongly they believed in their caste system
