Heres an intro I used for a essay a few weeks ago :)) lets just hope we go to school together haha

The process of learning requires many failures, steps, and obstacles, but you can't accomplish any of it without having a positive mindset throughout the process.

Explanation:

Describe failure . Start off with something to grab the reader's attention , eg; we've all failed a test at school or something that the reader can relate to . elaborate on your statement and then shift into an explanation of what failure is . hopefully this makes sense djjddjjd

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:I am for the "immediate, unconditional, and universal" enfranchisement of the black man, in every State in the Union. [Loud applause.] Without this, his liberty is a mockery; without this, you might as well almost retain the old name of slavery for his condition; for in fact, if he is not the slave of the individual master, he is the slave of society, and holds his liberty as a privilege, not as a right. He is at the mercy of the mob, and has no means of protecting himself.

How does the repetition of the phrase “without this” support the paragraph’s argument?

It reinforces the idea that without equality in the US, the idea of a free society is a joke.

It suggests that a free society is possible, with or without equal rights for all people.

It indicates that Douglass would be content without material possessions or status.

It proposes that slavery will not be abolished in the US without the support of all citizens.

Which sentence from the passage best shows that Juhan values the culture of his homeland?
Naddika [18.5K]
Hi there! I feel that C.) would be the best answer for this question. Fighting in a war wouldn't show that you value the culture of your homeland, like shown in answer A.). B and D seem irrelevant to the question at hand, and since the language of a country relates directly to the culture and answer C.) shows that Juhan values it, it'd be safest to go with that answer.

What is the characteristic of a good topic sentence answer?
MrRa [10]
A good topic sentence is very clear, focused on the topic, directly relates the thesis, summarizes the main points of that paragraph, and strongly supports a claim.
