Do you think race relations in your country are better, worse, or stayed the same in the last 50 years? Why? Give some examples
ivann1987 [24]

Answer: It is better

Explanation:

They are surely better. I think that there is much less discrimination. Social media is full of opinions on this situation and everyone is thinking that all people should be equal. Nowadays, all races are having the same opportunity in life.

The best example for that is president Barack Obama who is the first Bi-racial presidential candidate and he was nominated by the other people which is showing how people are looking at that race relations situation and that it doesn't matter which race is someone.

I think that the situation is better because those people are standing for each other and doing their best. They were fighting for their rights trough many years and they deserved it.

charle [14.2K]

The experimental paradigm that has been used to demonstrate that cognitive dissonance processes are driven by a negative, affective state of tension is a misattribution of arousal.

The term cognitive dissonance is used to describe the mental discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs, values, or attitudes. Cognitive dissonance is a theory in social psychology. It refers to the mental conflict that occurs when a person's behaviors and beliefs do not align.

Dissonant cognitions are usually caused by a mismatch in beliefs and behaviors. Festinger's theory identified three primary triggers, or causes, of cognitive dissonance: forced compliance, decision-making, and effort. Here's an explanation of these triggers, along with a few examples of cognitive dissonance in action.
