Let's start with what we know:

2 x^{2}+3x+1
And we are trying to put it into this form:

(? +/-?)(? +/- ?)

Here is what it would look like:

(2x + 1)(x + 1)

You can check you work by using the FOIL method (first, outer, inner, last)

2x² + 3x + 1
2x² + 2x + x + 1
2x(x) + 2x(1) + 1(x) + 1(1)
2x(x + 1) + 1(x + 1)
(2x + 1)(x + 1)

Sauron [17]

Answer:

\boxed{\frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the fraction by \frac{\sqrt{6}}{\sqrt{6}}

\frac{2}{\sqrt{6}} \times \frac{\sqrt{6}}{\sqrt{6}} = \frac{2\sqrt{6}}{6}\\

Cancel the 2s

\frac{2\sqrt{6}}{6}= \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}

∴ \boxed{\frac{2}{\sqrt{6}} = \frac{\sqrt{6}}{3}}

Without graphing, is the system independent, dependent, or inconsistent y=2x-8 2x-y=8
morpeh [17]

An independent system has different slopes hence has a unique solution.

If two lines have the same slope then, they are inconsistent. The reason is that the two lines could have NO SOLUTION or INFINITELY MANY SOLUTION.

An inconsistent system that have infinitely many solution is said to be dependent.

Now let us make y the subject in both equations, to obtain,

y=2x-8

For the seccond equation, we have

2x-y=8

\Rightarrow -y=-2x+8

\Rightarrow y=2x-8

Wow, the two systems have the same slope and y intercept. This means the system has infinitely many solution, hence it is dependent.

denpristay [2]
Answer - 42 Sandwiches

Explanation -
56 is what you start out with. you will need to find 25% of those 56 to see the remaining. So 25% of 56 is 14 because .25 x 56 is 14. You then subtract 56 from the 14 Tuna sandwiches and you’re left with 42.
