Washington and DuBois did not want African Americans to give up on performing racial justice in the United States. Marcus Garvey believed that black separatism remained the best path and the most reliable way for African Americans to get success. Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois that similarly held differences in their appearances to civil rights always ordered their supporters to continue on fighting until racial equality would be given.
